 Hi,
I am looking into installing a semi-permanent wifi system on my sailboat. I want to install the antenna on the masthead. Also rebroadcast the signal inside the boat. I was looking at a system from Island time PC.  http://www.islandtimepc.com/marine_wifi.html They have a POE set-up. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with POE on there boat, and if it is worth while?  I find it's the best deal on the internet and I like the no coax installation. You could install the Client Bridge inside the mast at the head and run a short 1 - 2 ft length of coax to the antenna mounted on the masthead.  I would be happy for any thoughts on this.  Thanks   _/)

I have got a new wireless antenna for my boat. It is a wifi antenna from Island time PC. It works Amazingly! I have had excellent reliability and coverage. It's powerful and can talk to the weakest of signals. Highly recommend it. I have tried lots of others and this one by far is the best!
