Hi all,

I am a hard working and enthusiastic travel writer who is looking to get around the world without flying and as cheaply as possible. My plan is to head across the North Atlantic and then across North America before departing the West Coast USA for Australia and then on from there.

I have looked into getting on freighter ships, which is very expensive and I am now researching sailing.

Any advice on how to get on-board a boat etc. would be greatly appreciated!! Contacts, suggested approaches to get on-board an East-West trans-At etc.

Anything you think can help, please let me know. You never know, you might make it into my next book!

Many Thanks and Kindest Regards
