Hey, Everyone.. I had a general Question about Racing. I Raced Rainbow in a cruisers race last week and I am a little unsure about what happened in it. I was passed by Firelight on the Windward side. I know that i can point higher then they can, so I tried to push them up and force luff there sails. Firelight thought that they had right of way and so i didn't push up anymore. What are the rules for that kind of engagement when one boat is passing on the windward side, can the leeward boat push up and force the passing boat to luff? I would love a come back! Thanks! _/)
